Big ups to the mount laurel police department. I was involved in an incident yesterday with a local hotel that could have turned into a situation that it didnt have to be and the hierarchy and a couple officers below him made a choice key word CHOICE to protect and serve. Me and my animal were able to make a safe transfer extremely accomidated by them with set up transportation and saftey. They are not obligated to do any of those things. And i wanted to express my gratitute for everything they CHOSE to do. Its not a cop or civilian "thing". Its not a black or white "thing". Its a character thing. My whole life ive seen people get judged. But it was never solely based on the reason the accuser was exposing. It was based on a reason that was primarily and partially concealed. As so the mass shooting of in florida by a man who killed people not based on spiritual principles which is never validation to kill someone. But he despised what he wanted to be! And people who were already traumatized by lifes uncertainty were punished for that! In my opinion only people who "hate" and form of authority are the ones doing things they have no business doing. No every altercation with the police that has occurred any where in the world can be justified. But that is why its a "character" thing. So i say that to say this. Thank you so much to the mt laurel police department for all they did for my yesterday! And if you dont like them you dont like me!!!

Today I met Police officer Michael . I was walking with my neice in her stroller. Springwood Green neighborhood. Officer Michael introduced himself and we had a very nice conversation. No one was speeding, the officer wasn't called for a dispute or burglary just stopped to get to know the residents. Thank you officer Michael. I want more Mt Laurel officers to interact with community residents. I welcome the opportunity to get to know the officers who serve & protect us. Thanks Again.
