The staff here is awesome. I love the bartenders - very polite, friendly and just all around nice people. They always know when to come around and ask about a new drink, plus endless apps!!
Im presently dining here, my waitress Amanda is Fantastic. But I ordered the Jack Daniels SHRIMP and it came out over cooked & mash was horrible. So I sent it back. Only eating my green beans. The manager Kristy came out and stated that the shrimp was a little dark. So I explained the color was fine and that the shrimp is overcooked & shriveled up and small. But to my disappointment she explained that their process with preparing the shrimp is done different than other locations. In other words stating thus is how they are cooked here. When I eat these quote often in Cherry Hill & City Ave. And have had them several times in NYC AS WELL. NEVER was I presented with them looking Dry and over cooked all shrunk up. :(
Had the absolute worse restaurant experience in my life going here. The waitress took it upon herself to leave a tip on my card after being tipped in cash. When brought to the company's attention they didn't seem concerned about it at all. What happened to the days when company's would go above and out of the way to right the wrongs done on their behalf. Needless to say I will never dine at any TGIF ever again in life nor would I ever recommend them to anyone. For the inconvenience and trouble this has caused me I hope they lose 10,000xs what was taken from me monetarily and become a mire after thought for the mental stress.
I'll start by saying my boyfriend and I have bare minimum standards for service at restaurants since we've been servers/bartenders for 10 years. We sat in the bar area where we were told that we would have 3 servers. We ordered drinks and apps to start, got those in a timely manner. The apps were half under cooked and half over cooked it literally made you sick to eat it. Unfortunately, that's not the worst part.. We were so neglected by the three servers/bartenders the one woman would look at the ceiling just so she could pass us to go to the table directly next to us (which she had been to more than 5 times). We were also never asked what we would like to order for entrees. I've served more people by myself than what was in that bar this evening for three servers. The servers in the restaurant were making their own drinks because the three of them also neglected their tickets for the rest of the restaurant. I used to love Fridays, but it couldn't have been more obvious that the entire staff including the kitchen and the manager just did not care, which reflected in their service, food and cleanliness of the entire establishment. Overall this was the worst experience we've ever had at a restaurant, but also not the first time at this location.
It usually takes a while to get seated but that wasn't a big deal. Once we were, it took over 15 minutes to have a server come to our area even though 3 additional families sat down while we were waiting. It took until we went to ask for a server before anyone came over. We only wanted dessert, 1 item to split, and the entire process (from arriving until leaving) took an hour. Considering it was 9pm on a Monday night and they weren't busy there is absolutely no reason for the service to have been so slow.
