This hotel is awesome. Spent two nights here and I loved it. Nice amenities, there's a big smart TV in each room with hd channels. Free breakfast included.
The staff are super friendly (Irving/Erving, Robert, & Sabrina). These three people went above and beyond when it comes to customer service to make my stay an enjoyable one. Irving/Erving, sorry not sure about the spelling, but from the time I checked in he was not only able to put my room on the same floor as the family we traveled with but in close proximity as well. Since I was there with two teams from my son's soccer club, there was at least 25 kids ranging in ages from 5 to 12. This hotel has nothing for kids to do, but as a kid they will always find a way to entertain themselves. And yes that would include running around the property. Yet Sabrina had the patience of an angel. As the kids had a curfew at 9:30pm the parents had the opportunity to socialize. And some of us like to party... maybe a little too much as some would say.... and Robert had his nights cut out for him.... not that we see rowdy or disrespectful... we just were having an old fashion good time... yeah we may have been a little loud but they way Robert handled the situation was by far professional and respectful. And with that I tip my hat... The next time we have a tournament in New Jersey. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
My recent stay on the weekend here was a pleasant. Clean rooms, good food and great service. Alexa and Sabrina were really helpful. 2 star rating with 5 star service!
I booked this hotel for 2 separate nights, Wednesday and Friday nights. On Wednesday night room #130 had an inch gap between the door and the frame I was able to see people walk by. In addition the security door latch was not properly secured and it was falling off. I have a video if you need proof.
Very modern and clean. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be staying at this Holiday Inn Express again. One bonus compared to the other area hotels are that this hotel uses queen beds as oppose to standard double sized. The extra room makes a big difference.
On Friday we came back because I already had reservations, the luggage car carriers were missing. When I asked the manager, he did not seem to care. He could’ve easy looked at the videos to see who took them. Manager could've been a bit more helpful as I was traveling with my pregnant wife and 3 yr old son.
