The sheets were stained with who knows what. Also, the power went out after plugging up a flat iron. One flat iron! The young lady at the desk was helpful however the manager was very combative and condescending about the matter. No compensation was demanded, however there was no ownership over the matter at all, saying that he would “investigate”. Mt. Laurel is a beautiful place and the Hyatt Place ruined my experience the first night. There’s 4 hotels around this same hotel, take your business else where. You get what you pay for I guess.
I stay often at the Hyatt Place in Mt. Laurel when I come to NJ for business. The hotel is easy to get to and on the same side of Rt.73 as my office which is a huge time saver because getting across Rt. 73 in the morning and evening is scary and adds 15-20 minutes to any commute. I like that the room has a seating area separate from the bedroom area. There's a breakfast buffet that's nice. The free wifi is adequate. The hotel is quiet. The Staff are professional and friendly and responsive.
Ate and had a few drinks at the hotel near/restaurant. It's not a real restaurant, more like a small kitchen in the back that can prepare food. It wasn't bad, though they definitely don't have a chef in the back. One of the hosts went in the back to prepare our food when we ordered. Staff was great and very nice
This facility is well-maintained. The staff is very friendly and customer-oriented. The breakfast is very competent. I have stayed here three times. It has become a go-to hotel when visiting family.
Great place to stay. The staff is excellent and goes above and beyond. The morning continental breakfast is decent. The food offerings at the bar are price reasonable and very good. The drink selection at the bar is suitable for the wine and beer snob crowd but lacking for the domestic beer drinker. I can let that slide as I'm probably not their target consumer. This is an ideal business trip hotel. I will return here, business or pleasure.
